WOODLANDER DEL AMITRI

A stunning combination of two world class dressage lines from German and Dutch breeding, this young stallion shows huge elastic movement, great beauty and a wonderful temperament. Qualified Regionals 07 and 08.

His first offspring saw multiple ribbons with

 two colts in the top ten of the Amlin National Foal Championship 05Champion Colt FoalReserve Supreme BWBS 05Reserve Youngstock Champion 07a licensed son GF D’kota, one of few in 07.

Without exception, his foals share his looseness and movement as well as his beautiful head and neck and correct limbs.

Del Amitri’s pedigree includes International Grand Prix stallion Olympic Cocktail Ridden by Anky van Grunsven. Olympic Cocktail is the sire of another top international Dutch dressage stallion – Jazz. His sire DiMaggio was the winner of the World Breeding Dressage Championships.

Handsome is as handsome does. His first ridden offspring saw Woodlander Donna Summer as one of the first Elite First Premiums and on the Equine Pathway at three years, winner of her performance test and Elite Champion Three Year Old, Futurity. 2009 saw Woodlander Daddy Cool as a finalist for the Badminton and Shearwater Young Dressage Horse. Sadly, he was unable to take part.
