Louella Stud cont.....

"I would love to breed a Burghley or Badminton winner. Cool mountain (Bramham winner last year) also by "Primitive Rising" is half brother to my mare Nomadam and is being aimed for Kentucky with William Fox Pitt this year, so i am keeping my fingers crossed that he does well.

I think "Primitve Star" and "Primitive Proposal" look like they are following their fathers footsteps for producing competition horses. They both have young horses that are doing well. "Primitive Star" was 12th in the BE top 100 rankings of 6yo eventers in 2009 and "Primitive Proposal" whose oldest stock aere 6yo this time has got the talented "Rubeus Hagrid II" flying his flag. Rubeus won a BE90, 2 BE100 and a 5 yo class last year. His rider Ginny Turnbull describes him as Mr Consistent.

"Rainbow High" has had a brilliant start to this year. He had a 3yo make £60,000 at the Breeze-ups and has had some good winners. "Real Treasure" (out of a Primitive Rising mare) 1 win and two 2nds from 3 starts over hurdles and "The Rainbow Hunter" also won and placed over hurdles and both were bred by Louella Stud."

Louella Stud and their achievements are what most breeders try and aspire to. Over the years they have chosen the best of bloodlines from a diverse range of breed types, and have accomplished wins and victories across all the disciplines.
