Don Aqui is a stunning black stallion by the top dressage progenator Don Bosco (Donnerhall x Ramiro x Pik Bube) out of the successfull mare Gadina (1a Premium mare several times in Germany and dam of several State Premium Mares) by Gardeulan II. Don Aqui was Licensed at the Verden Main Licensing in October 2000 and then went on to successfully pass his 30 day test in Zweibrücken, scoring two 9`s on his jumping. He qualified for the prestigious Bundeschampionate, representing the Hanoverian Verband in Eventing, where he reached the final scoring 7.6 and coming 10th overall.
*** BUNDESCHAMPIONATE FINALIST STALLION ***
In 2002 he won and was placed in several Material Classes and Young Dressage Horse Tests in Germany. Following this he went on to achieve placings in Young Jumper Classes up to L-level and finally turned his hand to eventing. In 2003 he had a successful eventing season with Jan Büsch and qualified for the Bundeschampionate in Wardendorf, in the 5 Year Old Eventing Division. Following this he qualified to compete in the finals, where he scored 7.6 and was 10th overall. Due to this fantastic result he was given his permanent Breeding Approval by the Hanoverian Verband.
After this outstanding result Don Aqui was then used for breeding and was brought back into work in 2006, where he was in training with the International Olympic Rider, Nicole Uphoff for a high level dressage career and to be presented at the Aachen Stallion Gala Show. Sadly after 6 weeks of training, and on a routine visit to a vet clinic he received an injury which stopped him from continuing in his competition career. However, this lovely stallion had already proved himself in all three disciplines at a young age!
In 2009 his eldest progeny are now 7 years old, and four of his offspring have already been out winning in young horse tests up to L and M level. We are also proud to announce the victory of Dorgia T (breeder, owner and rider F.Tillmann, Grevenbroich), who was crowned Champion at the 2008 Rhineland Young Showjumping Championships scoring 8.2 and defeating the runner up, an Approved Stallion by Orlando-Gralshüter.
Datinka T *2002 (dam by Mackintosh-Scipio) showed successfully in Germany and Luxemburg, and to date has 7 placings in A level young horse jumpings, 6 at L level young horse jumpings, 3 at M level young horse jumpings (all judged for manner and technique), as well as 12 placings in A level jumping and 2 in L level jumping.
Destination S *2002 (dam by Figaro-Sarastro xx) has 2 placings in A level and 3 placings in L level young horse jumpings.
Dorgia T *2002 (dam by Grand Ferdinand II-Argentan) won the Rhineland Young Jumper Championship and had 5 placings in A level young horse jumpings, 10 in L level, 6 in M level, 11 in A level jumpings (time and pennalties), 4 in L level and won 1 M level.
Daquina *2003 (dam by Rocco Parocco-Scipio) has 6 placings in A level dressage.
Dargo T (dam by Scipio-Pyrop) had 4 placings in A** young horse jumpings, 1 placing in A level young horse jumping, 1 in L level young horse jumpings 2 placings in A-level young horse x-country and 1 win in A level jumping. 1 win in A level x-country and 1 placing in A level 3 day event for a total of 13 lifetime placings thus far.
For the 2009 season Don Aqui has 14 Registered offspring at FEI Level, with the above 5 offspring being the most successful. His offspring have won, so far 2,396 Euros in lifetime earnings, with his oldest offspring only now being 7 years old!!
2009 was his first season at stud in the UK and he proved very popular with breeders from all three major disciplines.
